Colour Adventures and Knitting Adventures: Capricious and Sweet Poppy

Capricious cardigan is the adult version of Sweet Poppy.
The cardigan is completely seamless and is worked from the top down. I have used an amazing technique developed by Susie Myers, “contiguous set-in sleeves”, that allows shoulder shaping and set-in sleeves construction without the use of a single short row.

Capricious is best worked with 4-ply, sport, and DK weight yarns knitted to a DK gauge. I strongly recommend to avoid using yarns with silk or bamboo content for this project.

Gauge: 22 sts and 29 rows per 4x4 inches in stockinette stitch on 4.0 mm needles or size to obtain gauge.

Sweet Poppy is written for DK gauge. You can use DK, sport or 4-ply yarn for this project as long as you can get gauge. Lighter weight yarns are recommended for a drapier cardigan.
