Gavrosh Pants

Gavrosh Pants are part of the ebook series "Sun and Sand". The idea is to create comfy garments from cool and crisp fibers for summer and spring.

Maya really likes her two pairs of pants. You can easily see why, so soft and comfy, not restrictive at all and plenty of pocket space to carry all her new treasure finds.

The pants are knit entirely in the round. Each leg begins separately with a provisional cast on, which is used to allow for knitted on hems. Then crotch stitches are set aside (to be grafted later via Kitchener method), then legs are joined to form the body, which is then knitted up to the waist.
I have provided two versions of the pants here: one is unisex and the other one is a bit more girlish, and each version can be knitted to any length you desire (shorts, long Bermuda style shorts, full length pants).
