Sea Princess

Sea Princess jacket is part three of my “Back to the Sea” collection of all season garments.
The jacket is entirely seamless and is knit from top down. I have provided links to all the relevant tutorials and techniques, so if you are not familiar with any of them, here is your chance to try, and succeed.
The back length is determined by the cable set for each size, and is measured from the top of the collar to the end of the hemline.
You will have lots of options to choose from: Short or long sleeves; elaborate or simple cables; garter or seed stitch bands and hem; wide or narrow button bands. Choose your options then follow the instructions for your style.
This pattern has two different versions (both are included):
Pages 1-18: DK: 6m - 9 year old (17-26” chest)
Pages: 19-36: Worsted: 1-14 year old (20-30” chest)
Pages 37-56: Cable Charts (print only pages for your size)
The pattern itself has a variety of options as well as detailed cable charts for each size.

The pattern can be purchased individually or as an ebook collection.

  1. I am knitting 1-2 in worsted. Instructions for fronts say to repeat rows 25-31 then 32 x3. If I do this I have added 2 extra stitches on row 31, which I haven't decreased on row 33 as I don't repeat this. Is this correct? I don't want to start the knot pattern with too many stitches.

    1. You need the extra stitches to start the cable knot.
