We have been busy playing with our dyepots and making sets of yarn in gradients of various colorways.  The above pics are a small selection of of what is possible.

These sets are ideal for shawls, and any other items where you would like an extra splash of color - the color changes could even be the main design feature in your item.

As always custom orders are welcome, and as usual they are at the same cost as 'in stock' yarns!

Note: These patterns are also available individually by visiting clicking on the pattern name above.

Almost a year ago Alex Tinsley and I talked about an ebook project using Malabrigo yarns. It was a very exciting prospect for me. Not only do I like knitting with Malabrigo yarns, but I also like designing with Malabrigo yarns as they bring out that extra creativity in me. The beautiful range of colors and the uniqueness of each dye lot all add to the creative process.

It was not very hard for me to create a theme for the ebook. I wanted to create unique pieces that are in tune with current fashion, something that I would myself wear every day, something I cannot buy at the store. Thus the idea of “Days of the Week” ebook came to mind, as in 7 days of the week, with an item of unique knitwear for each day.

Assigning designs for each day of the week was not a random process for me. Each design and day had a special meaning. Though I must say what gives me a “Thursday” vibe might say “Saturday” for you, or the other way around. I hope you will find this collection exciting and will associate each design with your favorite day of the week, just as I do.

Days of the Week collection offers a good mix of practical accessories and modern garments as well as the possibility of working with and mixing together your favorite Malabrigo colors. The collection has something for everyone, be it a beginner knitter or a very seasoned one.

Holiday and Gift Knitting Event

Hi everyone,
It is this time of the year again! Are you starting your Holiday knitting yet? Are you knitting for yourself? or making gifts?
I would like to see what everyone is working on.
So instead of having a KAL for all our knits, I would like to host some mini events.
What does it mean?
There will be several events, each one will be run for 1-2 weeks in general, though we will have some short events too that will last a couple of days. New event will start when the previous one is complete. You can participate in all, or in ones you like, or the ones that suit your current knitting schedule.
When do events start?
The events start now and will end on Jan 1st, 2015.
Who can join?
Everyone is welcome! You can join at any time.
Will there be prizes?
Yes there will be! Some will be fun, others will be silly, and others will be what you most desire.
If you join the event, you have to complete all the requirements to qualify for a prize specific for that event.
Where can we chat and share projects?
Over in our Ravelry Group: Anadiomena's Adventures.  Each event will have its own thread, so for event specific chatter you will need to post in the event’s thread. Other than that, this thread is open for all discussions.
If you do not like to chat, you do not need to.

Our first event has already started:
We all have projects we want to knit but never get to them for one reason or another. I know I have a huge list for must have accessories, shawls especially.
So…. why not join us over here?

Summer Ends Set

It is that time of the year again when seasons change. The warm days are still here, but you can smell fall in the air; mornings are getting chilly and the evenings are getting colder and colder each day. This hat is the perfect cover up to carry you through the summer’s end and the beginning of the fall.
Summer Ends Hat is worked bottom up and is completely seamless. The hat features same lace and cable design as Summer Ends (scarf/infinity/cowl), and is intended to be a matching half of the set.
We hope that these fun patterns will give you lots of joy making and wearing them. They are simple enough for an adventurous beginner and interesting enough for a more seasoned knitter.
